Early Neuroligical Stimulation
As a Cavapoo breeder, ENS is a process we started doing that introduces mild stresses to a very young puppy in a controlled way. These stresses help stimulate the neurological system which improves the growth and development of the pup's immune system, cardiovascular system, and stress tolerance. It is done for 2 weeks starting at 3 days old. There are 5 exercises that are performed for 3-5 seconds each day.

Raised on Curriculum

1. Tactical Stimulation

(Tickle between the toes with a q-tip)

2. Head held erect
3. Head pointed down
4. Supine position
5. Thermal stimulation

The Benefits

(including but not limited to)

1. Improved cardiovascular performance(heart rate)
2. Stronger heart beats
3. Stronger adrenal glands
4. More tolerance to stress
5. Greater resistance to disease

Early Scent Introduction
ESI is a procedure we do that helps puppies with their nose awareness and confidence. It enhances their ability to identify and react to scents. Similar to ENS, ESI is introduced at days 3-16 of a puppies life and is very beneficial for their development.
House Training

On week 3, we begin to do a simple 10 step handling exercise with the pups. We begin using very light pressure and slowly build that pressure as they grow older. This is very important as it helps the pups be desensitized to touch. Not all the pups will enjoy this exercise but they will learn to tolerate it and be compliant. We always do this in a gentle loving manner! Your Vet, Groomer and Kids will thank you for this!

We also start getting them used to gentle baths, brushing, and blow drying to help them be more comfortable with grooming. When they are 3-4 weeks old we begin the potty training process. We start with a litter box next to their bed. Around 5-6 weeks old we start taking them outside to potty. We introduce the pups to crate training, car rides, new sights, sounds and smells. We give them new toys, challenges, and places to explore. This is all to help build confidence in themselves and trust in humans. We make sure we go at their pace so they always feel safe. We like to think of it as empowering them, not enabling them. In doing all this, we hope to give you not only the best possible new fur baby but also the BEST experience with us!
